This is going to be a very short blog on living with optimal health because it takes a lifetime of habits that promote these life-supporting behaviors and one could write a book on each of these points!\u00a0 But let’s just think of five major areas that are important for health and well-being.<\/p>\n

  1. Above all, energy is a key factor. What is this energy?\u00a0 This energy is found in movement, in your meridians, in the foods you eat, the fluids you drink and the thoughts you think. Optimal health requires a good grasp on what brings you energy and what depletes your energy.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n
  2. Sleep versus Awake behaviors. Sleep has become a key element to optimal health as we face a society that has lost contact with the ability to let go of the awake state and all the thinking it allows to relax and release into the softness of the night. The releasing is the in-between stage that allows the day to go and rest and restoration to begin. Mastering the transitional states between awake and sleep allow for the body to recover and maintain homeostasis.<\/li>\n
  3. Movement. Movement is what the body is meant for optimal health. The body loves to move. Stretching, dancing, using it to hike or walk or clean your room, the body loves to move.<\/li>\n
  4. Thought states. Gratitude is an element that allows you to move towards your greater joy and purpose in life. Mastering creative thinking leads to optimal health and the body enjoys the accomplishment of supporting a human being moving and thinking toward the greater good. The feel-good emotions physiologically aid in promoting optimal health.<\/li>\n
  5. Nutrition. Bless your food. Nourish yourself with foods that are alive with nutrition and in their natural forms.\u00a0 Highly nutritious foods will support the energy needs of the body for optimal health.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    All of these points when embraced on a daily basis will assist in sustaining optimal health for a\u00a0 lifetime.<\/p>\n
