Stress-Less Starter Breakfast

This breakfast consists of one tablespoon of flaxseed oil, one hardboiled egg, and tomatoes and cucumbers drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. Flaxseed and olive oil help slow the release of inflammatory hormones the body pumps out under stress. The omega 3 fatty acids in flaxseed and olive oil also provide anti-inflammatory effects on your joints and improve blood flow. EPA and DHA fatty acids present in omega-3s also maintain healthy levels of serotonin. Serotonin controls emotional response and creates a sense of well-being within the body. Take the flaxseed oil as you would cough syrup and enjoy this nutrient-rich breakfast.

Take a Stress-Less Supplement: Endorphinate

Endorphinate is used to support important functions in the body that promote a sense of calm, comfort and well-being. This stress-reducing supplement contains two B vitamins, folate and vitamin B12, which help prevent and relieve physical and emotional distress. Eat a Stress-Less Snack: Chyawanprash

Breathing is fundamental for life, but because it is automatic, we tend to take it for granted. Ujjayi breathing is a technique created by ancient yogis to help clear and cleanse the body and mind. It is a diaphragmatic breath which first fills the lower belly, activating the lower rib cage and finally moves into the upper chest and throat. Inhalation and exhalation are both done through the nose. Practicing ujjayi breathing several times a day for a minute or two can have huge benefits.

Three Steps To Empower Your Inner Healer

Although there is an overwhelming amount of stress in our society today, there is also an incredible natural healing movement going on just waiting for your exploration. With a little desire, this empowering healing movement can guide you on the path to a more balanced life!  This happens as you connect more deeply with the healer within. The internet offers many avenues to research on health and alternative solutions to issues you may be facing, but the most important gift you can give yourself is connecting with your inner healer.  This inner healer, a part of your intuition, can help you know the path that is best for you.

One key is to discover an avenue within that shifts you from listening to the outer world to diving into the inner world of your own being. When this incredible step of exploring your inner world becomes more expansive than the pull of the outer world of noise, your capacity to heal grows beyond what you may have thought possible! Here in this space is the capacity to heal! The difficult part is simply starting a practice that allows you the time to pause and go within.

So here are three steps to get you started.

Step 1. Create time for yourself.

Breaking away from the noise and distractions that are evident around you, is literally step one.   This may be difficult to do at first, but it becomes easier if you plan this into your day.

Step 2. Find the right space.

Finding a safe, peaceful place to take time for your inner self is important.  It is so easy to get distracted that getting to a quiet place becomes important, especially in the initial phases. 

Step 3 The Practice.

Choosing a meditation or maybe relaxing music can be the practice you need to soothe your inner soul. Whether it is to meditate, practice mindfulness or simply focusing on your breathing; you can awaken a healer within that can be beyond anything you thought possible.  There are so many apps available on your phone today. Simply choose one and get started.

It may not happen right away, but the more you commit to practicing the closer you will become to that inner healer who is just waiting to show you the way.

Healing and Breath – A giving and receiving moment.

Breathe. Feel the breath coursing in through your body and slowly out.

As you take a deep breathe where is that breath going?  

Imagine that breath in spreading through out your body cleansing it and puriying it.

Now with the breath out all that does not belong, tension, stress, worry…leaves with your gentle and slow exhale.

Repeat.

A healing moment.

Yet, what does it mean to heal.  

A definition you can look up on line says to heal is to make whole.  

Throughout the course of each day there are aspects of our lives where we are giving.

If you have children, you may find yourself giving to them during the day.  This is a blessing yet receiving is part of the balance.

If you are working, you may find yourself trying to give your best in all you do or not…The point is, the balance of your system includes being able to receive.

To heal often connotates that something is broken. Maybe nothing is broken, maybe a siimple balance point needs to be met where we can come back to wholeness.

May you find giving and receiving a part of your everyday. May you heal whatever needs to come to balance each day. May you feel whole as you begin and end your day.

Your breath… a giving and a receiving moment.

Just Breathe.

Now this is not the sweet feeling love, but the love that stands in the presence of a powerful vibrational frequency.

Love is looking at yourself and embracing who you are and moving foward from there.

Meditation for Improved ways of Living

What do you want in your life?  Better health, more abundance, improved relationships?

Meditation is one of those tools that can help you get there.

If you don't have much time, here is a simple meditation to begin with:

Write down what it is you would like to improve in your life.  (If you are like me, you may find yourself writing more than one item. Choose one for this meditation)

After you have written something that you would like to improve in yourself, write what the improvement would look like.

What would your life look like if you already had what you wanted?

Write that down on a piece of paper, maybe even draw a picture of it.

Now begin:

Sit in a position with your spine straight.

Now take a deep breathe.

Take another long, slow and deep relaxing breath.

Do that one more tme.

Focus on your breath.

Now imagine in your mind's eye holding on to the paper with what you do want on it.

Focus on your breath.

In your imagination have the paper turn into a bright energy that swirls into your heart locking in the desired behavior or pattern.

Focus on your breath.

Feel the energy pouring through.

Feel the energy of your desire coming to fruition.

Hold on to the image.

Breath deeply.

Relax.

Continue to breath deeply until you are ready to come back to the present.

Stretch and roll your shoulders.  Done. Finish with the expectation that what you want will happen.

Now meditation can be more simple than the one above.  

meditating womanAll you simply need to do is find your self in a relaxing position, focus on your breath and pay attention to your breath alone.

Another approach is to repeat a word.  For many, the simple sound of "Ommm" will do.

You will find that with a regular practice of mediation your life will feel more fulfilled and your connection to coincidences and miracles may begin to unfold.

Love is a free flowing energy through the body and when fully present to that free flowing love energy, tingling sensations can be present.  The flow of this energy river stops when emotions from a thought agreement or judgment that can stop the river like a damn.

Love is Letting Go of Shields

First to add to the many different definitions of love, the definition of love from an EmoTrance point of view will be from a view of energy.

Energy in the energy body that is free flowing and running through the energy system is my definition of love.EmoTrance calls this Even Flow.

Love is a free flowing energy through the body and when a person is fully present to that free flowing love energy, tingling sensations can be present.  

The flow of this energy river stops when emotions from a thought agreement or judgment that can stop the flow of river energy like a damn.  This will be part of the explanation of what a shield is as we move on.

Next, let's look at the title of this blog and move to the "letting go" part.

"Letting go" is a little harder to define because the natural order of our energy body is free flowing energy.  

So what is there to let go of?

Everything that we have given a thought agreement to that includes judgment.

What's a thought agreement?  

Labeling.

You see a picture of a flower and determine it is a "rose."

A judgment is a choice that you have made that something is either good or bad.   For example you see a picture of a rose.  Your thought is "it's a rose" and because you have given it a label and there is no other question in your mind about it, you have made an agreement with that thought.

Now judgment involves emotions of good or bad.  

You don't like the rose.  Judgment.

Another example, someone has called you a name that has insulted you.  Obviously you determine that as bad.  This determination is the building material of a shield to protect you and the slowing down of energy flow in your body, creating a stuck feeling of energy in your energy body.

So what is a shield?

A shield is an energy charge that protects you or prevents you from receiving more of that energy.

But because energy is neither good nor bad, you stop receiving energy from other potential sources as well.

This creates a feeling of isolation or separation from others.

This is not love. 

This is the energetic creation of fear.  Fear is static energy behind a shield that creates this feeling of separation from others.  Fear can take on many different energy vibrations within the energy body and can be called anger, sadness, anxiety and others.  But whatever the vibration of that stuck energy is…it simply is the absence of the movement of the energy to the world.

So from my energetic definitions of love and fear,  fear is static non moving energy in the energy body and love is the free flowing energy connected to all things creating a oneness with others and life in general.

So how do we get to this free flowing love?  One answer would be to dissolve our shields.

In order to love there is a process of letting go of our shields.

How do we let go of our shields?

1. You must be aware that the shield exists.

2. Locate the shield

3. Soften and Flow

Step 1: Facelift Mask

Mix together the brown sugar and olive oil to create a paste. Apply to face and massage for a few minutes. Rinse off with warm water. The brown sugar will smooth out skin while the olive oil moisturizes.

 

Step 2: Tightening Toner

 

Ingredients

1 cup rose water

1 tsp lemon juice

1 tsp witch hazel

5 drops almond essential oil

 

Directions

Combine the ingredients together and mix well. Dab the mixture your face with a cotton ball and wait for it to dry. Both the witch hazel and rosewater are astringents, which tighten and shrink pores. The almond oil has antioxidants that help skin with building new cells.

 

Step 3: Plumping Moisturizing Facial Mask

 

Ingredients

2 tbsp of your favorite moisturizer

1 egg white

2 pinches turmeric

1 tsp Manuka honey

 

Directions

Mix the moisturizer, egg white, turmeric and honey together to make a paste. Apply to the face evenly, avoiding the eyes, and leave the mask on for 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water. The egg white tightens, while the turmeric and honey stimulates the skin and plumps it up, helping to build collagen to create a smoother look.

This breakfast consists of one tablespoon of flaxseed oil, one hardboiled egg, and tomatoes and cucumbers drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. Flaxseed and olive oil help slow the release of inflammatory hormones the body pumps out under stress. The omega 3 fatty acids in flaxseed and olive oil also provide anti-inflammatory effects on your joints and improve blood flow. EPA and DHA fatty acids present in omega-3s also maintain healthy levels of serotonin. Serotonin controls emotional response and creates a sense of well-being within the body. Try Stress-Less Breathing Exercise: Ujjayi

Breathing is fundamental for life, but because it is automatic, we tend to take it for granted. Ujjayi breathing is a technique created by ancient yogis to help clear and cleanse the body and mind. It is a diaphragmatic breath which first fills the lower belly, activating the lower rib cage and finally moves into the upper chest and throat. Inhalation and exhalation are both done through the nose. Practicing ujjayi breathing several times a day for a minute or two can have huge benefits.
